REAL HOUSEWIVES OF VIVINT
Role: Creative Direction, Director
Scope: Broadcast along side show, social collaboration, paid ads, website
The Challange
The challenge was to authentically tap into the personalities, humor, and cultural language of the housewives while introducing Vivint to a new audience in a way that felt entertaining, not promotional as if these scenes were pulled from the shows themselves.
The Idea(s)
Holidays with the Barlows:
We leaned into Lisa Barlow’s established persona, her humor, lifestyle, and her comments about never having to cook a meal….ever…, to create a holiday moment that felt true to her character.
We framed the story around hosting and presentation, positioning Vivint as the system working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly so she could focus on what matters most: trying to cook.
Real reality as it really happened, for real:
Reality TV is built on heightened moments but audiences know it’s rarely “real.”
We flipped that idea by positioning Vivint as the system that captures what actually happens, framing the product as a way to reveal real moments behind the scenes.
This allowed us to play within the tone of the show while reinforcing Vivint’s core smart home features.

Led creative direction across ideation and production, working closely with talent and teams to ensure the content felt authentic to each personality while aligning with brand objectives.
